Food Supplement with Folic Acid, 30 Tablets (℮ 6 g)
Formulated with 800 μg folic acid Apovital® Folsäure 800 tablets are an important supplement for women before and during pregnancy.
Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental folic acid daily intake of 400 μg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
During pregnancy folic acid contributes to maternal tissue growth. In addition, folic acid has a role in the process of cell division and contributes to normal amino acid synthesis, to normal blood formation, to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Ingredients:
Bulking agent: dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose; stabiliser: sodium carboxy methyl cellulose; glazing agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; folic acid (pteroylmonoglutamic acid).
Directions for use:
Adults take 1 tablet daily with water, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
Food supplements must not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
